Battletoads (A#28) falla en el nivel 2 en algunos sistemas clones, esto no es culpa del cartucho. Funcionará bien en NES/Famicom original y en algunos clones. El jugador puede saltarse el nivel 2 usando el warp en el nivel 1. Su hack Battletoads & Double Dragon: On Ragnarok (A#29) tiene el mismo problema. Se han eliminado las zonas warp, pero el jugador puede usar el código de selección de nivel (Abajo, Arriba, Arriba, Abajo, A, B, B, A en la pantalla de selección de personaje) para saltear el nivel 2.
